Can you tap an enchantment?

One of the Ravnica spells says something like "Until end of turn, all your
permanents gain "T: ~this~ deals one damage to target creature or player".
So now I'm wondering if this means that I can tap an enchantment I have out
to ping something (ie, tap something which normally doesn't have any
provision for tapping/untapping, or meaning when that might happen). I
would say yes, just because it says "all permanents", but sometimes I
mistrust my logic. -dna

Yep; enchantments are permanents. They're just permanents that never have
an ability of their -own- that taps them, and that almost nothing else says
specifically to tap. There's very few things that say to tap an enchantment,
or to tap a permanent rather than an "artifact, creature, or land" - but they
do exist.

A tapped enchantment works just like an untapped one, and will untap along
with your other stuff in your untap step. Note that technically you do NOT
tap enchantments enchanting something when you tap the something; a lot of
players don't realize this, and just tap the whole pile. Usually it makes
no difference, but when something like the above comes along they realize it
makes a decided difference...

This one, I think:

Flame Fusillade {3}{R} Sorcery
/ Until end of turn, permanents you control gain "{T}: This permanent
deals 1 damage to target creature or player."

Yes, an enchantment counts as a permanent you control. Remember that
you still control your Auras even if they enchant another player's
permanent, and remember to untap those Auras in your own untap step
along with anything else you control.

In this case, your logic is just fine.
